Mars in the Sex Horoscope
What Sexual Astrology Reveals 5
5. Mars shows how you want to please
Mars is the active force in your horoscope, the power by which you meet challenges and summon energy from within. In your sexuality, Mars shows how you want to treat your partner, and what you believe is the best way to make love — whether that's really true for your partner or not.

So, learning how to have great sex, astrologically speaking, is really for each partner's Mars to yield to the other one's Venus. But Mars is not that prone to yielding.
At least, it should try to adapt somewhat. The more it manages to do that, the more pleasant sex is for that partner. But if you also want it to be genuinely satisfying to you, your Mars must be expressed in some way. A few creative compromises will be necessary.
Here's what Mars implies about your method to please your partner in each Zodiac sign:
Mars in Aries Mars will hurry to seduce and take all initiatives, even to dominate. There is force involved, and something similar to aggression. A conquest more than a joining, a battle more than an embrace.
Mars in Taurus Mars will take it slowly, but do it properly and diligently, sparing no effort. No hurry and no surprises, but the basics done with some extra umpf. It's not imaginative, but it's trustworthy.
Mars in Gemini Mars will be playful, teasing, and full of humor in a relaxed and joyous manner. There is some seduction involved, and generous attention to foreplay. Speech is involved, as is the tongue in other ways. The intercourse is not the sole center of gravity.
Mars in Cancer Mars will be protective and watchful of the partner's feelings. Sex is a method to heighten and intensify emotions and attachments. The commitment is so sincere that it can sometimes feel like a trap, difficult to get out of.
Mars in Leo Mars will definitely demand to be in charge, from beginning to end, and stays center-stage all through. It is a performance that needs to be admired. But it is attractive and seductive, if not taken too seriously.
Mars in Virgo Mars will pay great attention to detail, and try to do everything exactly right, find the right buttons, do it all as it is supposed to be done, and stay in control. It is not very passionate, maybe even restrained, but it is competent.
Mars in Libra Mars will invite the partner to equal efforts and try to find balance, with the conviction that there is a right and a wrong way of doing things — beyond personal preferences. There is dedication and sincerity, but not much improvisation.
Mars in Scorpio Mars will stir up emotions, not all of them pleasant, but definitely sensational. The partner's experience and reaction is the goal. The methods are sometime far-fetched, often unusual, even kinky. But always exciting.
Mars in Sagittarius Mars will be sort of unattached, like only semi-present, on the way to elsewhere. At best, it's an invitation to a fascinating journey, at worst it's done in an instant and then farewell. But it is always intriguing.
Mars in Capricorn Mars will be very ambitious about it, making plans, setting high goals, and work toward them with determination and perseverance. Sex is concrete and physical, but its aim is more than that.
Mars in Aquarius Mars will explore and experiment, for the purpose of learning how to do it better. The partner is a laboratory, and sex is research into the inner workings of both persons involved. It's very serious, sometimes almost depressing, but definitely intriguing.
Mars in Pisces Mars will be sensitive to the partner's needs, gentle as if shy and hesitant, careful as if afraid to cause pain or discomfort, but very devoted to make it fantastic. There is sort of a shiver present, and the possibility of sudden withdrawal.
